The "Notary Public" profession is one of the most lucrative careers in America.

 

A Notary Public helps to prevent forged signatures and deceit in various public matters, including contracts, powers of attorney, attestations and mortgage documents.

California State Law: Requires all persons seeking appointment as a "Notary Public" to complete a Secretary of State approved (6) six-hour certified course prior to appointment.

 

This class is a "Certified State-Licensed" Notary Education course.

 

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certified “Proof of Completion” certificate. You must present this certificate in order to be allowed to take the "California Notary Public"(state proctored) Examination. (Some Notary Public classes will be conducted in the traditional classroom, and some will be "Live" Online)

A certified Notary Signing Agent (NSA) is a state commissioned notary public, that specializes in performing the closing ceremony and notarization of real estate and loan documents.


(AKA) - Loan Signing agents are proficient in loan signing protocol, notary law, the proper execution of loan documents, and other similar legal process transactions.


This low cost training provides better income potential than many careers that require a college degree. An NSA's typical signing fee is $75 -  $125 (and more) per loan signing. For example: A motivated NSA who does three signings per day at $125, five days a week, would earn $97,500 a year - for part-time work!!


Because errors are not an option, large lending institutions, escrow companies, mortgage companies, title companies, and signing services are in great need to hire only well-trained Notary Signing Agents.

Upon receipt of the Registration payment, participants will receive an E-Mail confirmation.  Please print the E-Mail confirmation and bring the printout to the course.


Confirmation of Registration

Confirmation of registration should be received by E-Mail within five to seven business days. Space will only be reserved for registration forms received with payment. 

 

If you have not received your E-Mail confirmation within two days of the course date, call (818) 825 4494 to confirm your reservation.

 

 

Cancellations

Cancellations received three days prior to the scheduled course date will receive a refund (minus a 10% processing fee).

 

Cancellations after three days prior to the scheduled course date will be assessed a $50 processing fee. 

 

The processing fee will be deducted from the refund. All refunds will be processed via PayPal.

 

Admittance of late arrivals is prohibited due to state law.  Late Arrivals will not receive a refund, but can choose to transfer to a different course date.

  
NOTE:
Occasionally it is necessary to cancel a scheduled class due to low enrollment, or for other unavoidable reasons. Cancellations will be announced before the class meeting. 

If a class meeting is cancelled, participants can choose to transfer to a different class date, or receive a full refund within 10-days.

The Notary Journal: Explain the requirements for ownership and maintenance of a Notary journal.

 


The Notary Seal: Perform the steps to affix a seal, and follow the correct steps for authenticating a Notary's signature and seal.

 


Notary Fees: Determine the correct fees to charge for notarial acts.

 


Notarizing in Special Situations: Identify the laws pertaining to foreign-language documents and signers. Explain how to verify a signer's birth date or age.
